FOOH: faux out-of-home films made with AI

Your product, at impossible scale, in a place people recognise. We design and produce FOOH films for social media.

What is FOOH?

FOOH stands for faux (or fake) out-of-home. These short films show a product or an installation in a real city, at a scale or in a situation that could never exist. They were first made in CGI; generative AI now makes them faster to produce. They live on social feeds rather than in the street. Read our full guide to FOOH.

What we make

  • The concept. One simple, impossible idea per film, tied to what the product does.
  • The film. A short vertical film, usually under 15 seconds, built around one reveal.
  • Cutdowns. Versions and lengths for each platform.

How it works

  1. Concept. We propose several impossible situations for the product, in writing and in images.
  2. Location. We choose a place people recognise in a second: a landmark, an airport, a river, a famous street.
  3. Production. We generate the scene and the product's movement shot by shot, staying faithful to the product.
  4. Finish. Sound, grading and logo in post-production, then the cutdowns for each platform.

FAQ

Do you shoot on location?

Not necessarily. With AI, the whole scene can be generated, which avoids travel and filming permits. Rights to recognisable buildings, venues and third-party brands still need checking case by case.

How long is a FOOH film?

Usually under 15 seconds: one idea, one reveal, made to be watched on a phone.

Can the film use our real store or billboard?

Yes. Send us references of the place and we build the scene around them.
