Balenciaga — Spike Bowl
A campaign around the Balenciaga Spike Bowl, staged as an artefact of menace and beauty. From a doberman among the sheep to the polished steel of the object itself, the film turns the bowl into a relic of bite, weight and silver.

The idea
We started from a single domestic object: a steel bowl ringed with spikes. It looks precious and it looks like it could bite, and the idea lives in that tension. One question shaped the series: what kind of animal is this bowl made for? The answer became the key image: a black doberman standing among white sheep, a predator hiding in plain sight. Everything stays black, white and steel: without colour, texture carries the emotion.
How it was made
Each frame began as an art-directed still, with composition, light and material fixed before anything moved. The stills were then animated into a 10-second object film, edited with hard cuts and finished in post-production with grading and typography. See how we approach AI product films.
